Steve Hague

As a Senior Client Service Representative at Vance Wealth’s Costa Mesa office, Steve Hague helps clients navigate the day-to-day details of their financial lives with care, responsiveness and a strong focus on creating a positive client experience.

Originally from Chicago, Steve attended the University of Iowa, where he played Division I baseball and earned his degree in business administration. After graduating, he began his career in financial services and discovered an interest in helping clients better understand and manage their financial lives.

Steve brings more than 13 years of financial services experience to Vance Wealth, including nine years with an investment advisory firm serving clients approaching or living in retirement. Working alongside financial planners, he developed a strong background in client service, account operations and helping clients manage the ongoing details of their financial plans. Today, Steve works closely with Tyler’s team in Costa Mesa and serves as a primary point of contact for clients’ service needs. From processing money transfers and account updates to coordinating plan reviews, he helps ensure clients feel supported and cared for throughout their experience with the firm.

Steve most closely identifies with Vance Wealth’s core value to inspire balance in life. After spending much of his early career heavily focused on work, he has become increasingly intentional about staying present, building meaningful habits and making time for the experiences that matter most.

Outside the office, Steve enjoys an active, creative lifestyle. He practices jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai, spends time at the beach, and continues to build his skills in photography, video creation and DJing. He also enjoys live music and comedy shows with friends and loves to travel, most recently spending a year exploring Asia and Europe. A former youth baseball coach, he spent nearly a decade helping young athletes develop their skills and confidence.
